Dvojni doktorati (Cotutelle)
Dvojni doktorat poznat je pod francuskim nazivom „cotutelle“, budući da praksa dvojnog međunarodnog sumentorstva potječe s francuskih sveučilišta, otkuda su je preuzele i druge zemlje. O međunarodnom dvojnom doktoratu (Cotutelle de thèse/Joint PhD Thesis Supervision) govorimo kada doktorand upiše doktorski studij na dva različita sveučilišta, iz dvije zemlje, te uz superviziju dva mentora s tih sveučilišta radi jedan doktorski rad.

We are most pleased to announce the IGBMC International PhD Programme Winter call 2013-14.
The IGBMC is one of the principal European centers for biomedical research. As a Laureate of five prestigious grants -“Investments for the Future”- supported by the French Government, the IGBMC offers an outstanding research & technology environment to PhD students !
The IGBMC is committed to train students in all fields of structural, molecular and cellular biology and to expose them to cutting-edge technology. With a vivid scientific life and an international environment, the IGBMC is the perfect place for PhD students to develop their research projects.
In the context of the current call the IGBMC is seeking for highly motivated candidates of academic excellence to undertake a PhD research thesis in the following fields:
- live imaging and modeling of developmental processes
- nervous system development in Drosophila
- nuclear dynamics, cell signaling and metabolism
- transcription and translation
- nuclear receptor signaling
- stem cells and regenerative medicine
- breast and prostate cancers
- neurological and muscle diseases
- gene and drug therapies
- structure-based drug design.
Selected candidates receive fellowships with social benefits and are awarded with funds to participate in scientific meetings or for the acquisition of a laptop.
The application deadline for the winter call is 13 January 2014 at 12:00 noon CET.

Sastavi tročlanih povjerenstava za doktorande PDS "Neuroznanost"
Za svakog studenta određuje se posebno povjerenstvo od tri člana, od kojih je jedan obavezno voditelj laboratorija u kojem se izrađuje disertacija, koji prate savjetuju i surađuju s doktorandom sve do obrane disertacije. Kandidat zajedno s mentorom bira istraživačku temu do kraja prve godine studija.
